Gage Avenue Bridge Improvement Project - Approval of a Professional Services Agreement with Gannett Fleming, Inc. to Provide Professional Environmental and Engineering Design Services. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve a Professional Services Agreement with Gannett Fleming, Inc. to provide professional environmental and engineering design services for the Gage Avenue Bridge Improvement Project; and 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Initial Phase of the agreement with Gannett Fleming, Inc. in the amount of $556,070 to perform Tasks 1, 2, 2A and 3; and 3. Authorize the City Manager to execute change orders to the agreement in the amount not to exceed $26,730 (approximately five percent of the cost proposal, and up to the CIP budget of $582,800) for any changes to the scope of services related to Tasks 1, 2, 2A and 3.
Approve a New Agreement with Nationwide Environmental Services (NES) for Street Sweeping, Sidewalk Cleaning, and Bus Shelter Cleaning Services. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve a New Agreement with Nationwide Environmental Services (NES) for Street Sweeping, Sidewalk Cleaning, and Bus Shelter Cleaning Services for three (3) years with two (2) one-year extensions.
City Streetlight Purchase Financing. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council review this report to consider two streetlight purchase/LED conversion financing options and provide direction: 1. Payment of $1.5 million from General Fund Reserves; or 2. GE Public Finance loan of $1.5 million at 3.93% interest rate plus financing costs.
