A Request to Consider an Amendment to Title 3 "Revenue and Finance" of the Bell Municipal Code to Amend Section 3.12.80 (D)(3) "Exceptions to bidding requirements". (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council direct staff to proceed with the drafting of an Ordinance that would eliminate the six-month requirement and allow the City to enter into a cooperative agreement as long as the agreement is in effect.
Authorize the Interim City Manager to enter into a purchase agreement for two MCC7500 Dispatch Consoles to replace the current outdated police dispatch communication consoles. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council authorize the Interim City Manager to enter into a three year capital expenditure lease agreement for the purchase of two MCC7500 Dispatch Communications Consoles in the amount of $278,594.00 to replace the currently outdated police communications dispatch consoles which will no longer be supported by Motorola after December 31, 2018.
