(Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve a lease agreement between Seahawk Surveillance and the City of Bell for the use of an aerial-lift bucket truck owned by Seahawk Surveillance and stored on City property; and 2. Authorize the Interim City Manager to execute the Agreement in the amount of $1 (one dollar) per month in exchange for storing the truck in a City parking facility.
A Request to Consider an Amendment to Title 3 "Revenue and Finance" of the Bell Municipal Code to Amend Section 3.12.80 (D)(3) "Exceptions to bidding requirements". (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council direct staff to proceed with the drafting of an Ordinance to: 1. Eliminate the six-month requirement and allow the City to enter into a cooperative agreement for major purchases such as vehicles and equipment if the agreement is in effect; and 2. Agreements securing professional services and supplies, the City may utilize a cooperative agreement within one (1) year from date of execution of the agreement.
