Discussion on Adding a Sales and Use Tax Measure on a Future Ballot. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council discuss and direct staff to work with the City Attorney's Office to prepare the necessary resolutions to place a proposed ordinance, which would increase the City's Sales and Use Tax by 0.75%, on the ballot for City voter consideration.
Appointment/Re-appointment of Bell's Representative to the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District (GLACVCD) Board of Trustees. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council appoint a representative to the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District Board of Trustees to a 2 or 4 year term commencing January 6, 2020.
