Ordinance No. 1206-Transferring Enforcement Responsibility for Privately-Owned Mobile Home Parks to the Department of Housing and Community Development (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Conduct a public hearing; 2. Read by title only, waive further reading and introduce Ordinance No. 1206 titled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL CANCELLING ASSUMPTION OF ENFORCEMENT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MOBILE HOME PARKS ACT AND THE SPECIAL OCCUPANCY PARKS ACT PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 18300 (e) DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT; and 3. Place Ordinance No. 1206 on the next regular agenda for adoption.

Approve Settlement Agreement and Release of Claims with Defendants Luis Ramirez, Annette Peretz, Lisa Rowe, Dayna Marroquin, Mary Brainard, Nora Rosado and Linda Glau (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve a settlement agreement and Release of Claims with each of the following defendants in the case of City of Bell v. Avila, LASC Case No. BC491531, Ramirez v. City of Bell, LASC Case No. BC474118: Luis Ramirez, Annette Peretz, Lisa Rowe, Dayna Marroquin, Mary Brainard, Nora Rosado and Linda Glau.
Contract Award for Traffic Signal and Streetlight Maintenance (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the contract to AEGIS ITS in an amount not to exceed $180,000 for three years (not to exceed $60,000 per year) to provide maintenance and operation services for the City's traffic signals and streetlights for Fiscal Years 2014/15, 2015/16, and 2016/17.
