License Agreement with Southern California Edison (SCE) for Maintenance of Property at the South West Corner of Randolph Street and River Drive. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the attached license agreement between the City and SCE to provide for City maintenance of SCE property at the southwest corner of Randolph Street and River Drive.
Follow-Up Discussion Regarding Current "Fireworks" Ordinance, Chapter 8.20 of Title 8 of the Bell Municipal Code, including consideration of changes to the Ordinances. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council consider changes to the current "fireworks" Ordinance as they deem necessary including the implementation of two new ordinances that would help the police department enforcement efforts in reducing the illegal use of fireworks.
Consideration of a One Year Agreement with Colegio de Arbitros de Futbol de Los Angeles (CAFLA) for Soccer Referee Services for the 2018 Season. (Council) Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: a. Authorize Staff and the City Attorney to finalize a one year agreement with CAFLA for an amount not to exceed $33,806 for Youth Soccer and Futsal referee services for the 2018 season; and b. Authorize the City Manager to execute the final agreement with CAFLA.
